Little Lamb.
I am tracing, searching and seeking
For the fourth time, Lentvaris Locomotive Depot is transformed into a contemporary art scene. This time Depas 4.0 presents a premiere - artist Antanas Lučiūna’s performance ‘Little Lamb. I am tracing, searching and seeking.’ Antanas Lučiūnas explores the manifestations of popular, everyday and local language found in public space or “non-places”, as well as the paradoxical intimacy that arises between them. Seeking to turn ‘Little Lamb’ into a visual, multi-layered spectacle, the artist combines music, design and performative art, at the same time examining the perception of accuracy.Bell Hooks
All about love: New visions
“The practice of love offers no place of safety. We risk loss, hurt, pain.
We risk being acted upon by forces outside our control.”Paul. B. Preciado
“We’re looking for different kinds of representation to find a different way of loving, to have different kinds of relationships.”R. D. Laing
The Divided Self: The Existential Study in Sanity and Madness
“The complaint he made all along was that he could not become a ‘person.’ He has ‘no self.’ ‘I am only a response to other people, I have no identity of my own.’ He felt he was becoming more and more ‘a mythical person.’ He felt he had no weight, no substance of his own. ‘I am only a cork floating on the ocean.’”
“These days I’m thinking a lot about aim, felicity and accuracy, to the point that I’m not capable of grasping their true value. To move in ways that would create waves of desired after effects, to plan or to intuitively feel in which direction you want to move to accomplish things that we evaluate as our inner needs. To understand the aftermath of cause and effect.I remember this particular scene from my childhood so vividly, when I heard being said to me:
“Don’t lick your lips when the wind is blowing it will cause scabs on your lips.”
Yet here I am, feeling all scabby, thinking about it again, feeling as though there’s a specific choreography that I'm not aware of, so I just move without knowing the steps to it.”
